F. Strunk, Dr. Strunk graduated in 1982 from Creighton University in Omaha with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. She entered the residency program in the Department pediatric Dentistry at the University of Nebraska Medical Center where she was on the Cleft Palate Team. She completed the residency and and obtained her Master's degree and specialty certificate in pediatric dentistry in December of 1984. Dr. Strunk then worked as a pediatric dentist for eight years until 1992. She entered the Saint Louis University Department of Orthodontics where she obtained her specialty certificate in orthodontics in June of 1994. She served as an adjunct professor in the Orthodontic Department at Southern Illinois University in 1993 and 1994. Dr. Strunk has given lectures on interceptive orthodontics
to several dental associations in Nebraska, Missouri, and Illinois. She
has been a regular speaker for parenting classes at Methodist and Bergan
Mercy Hospitals. She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics
and Orthopedics, the Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and has been president-elect
and Secretary of Treasury of the Nebraska Society of Dentistry for Children.
Dr. Struck and her husband have three daughters. |
